It’s easy to argue that Taylor Swift is one of the greatest pop stars in history, thanks to numerous examples like her hugely successful The Eras Tour and her many chart-topping albums. In fact, her influence only continues to grow – on the latest Billboard 200 chart from July 22nd, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) debuts as the top album.
Taylor Swift’s album, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), has hit the top spot on the charts with 716,000 equivalent album units earned in the US during the week ending July 13. This marks the largest week for any album so far in 2023. In addition, this is Swift’s 12th No. 1 album, making her the female artist with the most chart-toppers of all time. The previous record holder, Barbra Streisand, had 11 chart-topping albums.
At present, Swift has achieved a remarkable feat by having four top-10 albums. Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is at the top followed by Midnights (No. 5), Lover (No. 7), and Folklore (No. 10). This achievement has made her the sole living artist to accomplish this since Herb Alpert way back in 1966. The other legendary artist to have achieved this feat was Prince posthumously in 2016.
The latest album features fresh and exceptional “From The Vault” tracks, with guest appearances from Hayley Williams and Fall Out Boy. Check out our ranking of the top-notch “From The Vault” songs on the album.
