Angelina flaunted her fashion-forward taste by donning a black midi dress featuring see-through lace sleeves. She went all out with her funky selection of embellishments, sporting a studded belt, silver-detailed heels, and finishing off the look with a spiky headband that matched her edgy vibe. Her long silver acrylic nails topped with bold statement rings perfectly complemented her overall ensemble.
Elle made a bold fashion statement on the red carpet by wearing a matching suit consisting of a tailored blazer, cullote trousers, shirt, tie, and even heels in a vibrant shade of red. The character Maleficent, an evil fairy from the 1959 animated film Sleeping Beauty, was portrayed by Angelina Jolie in a 2014 live-action adaptation. In the upcoming sequel, Mistress Of Evil, Jolie is reprising her role as the horned villainess who battles fairies while struggling with her feelings towards the innocent Princess Aurora, played by Fanning.
In the upcoming Maleficent sequel, our favorite anti-heroine faces a new challenge in the form of neighboring Queen Ingrith, played by Michelle Pfeiffer. This causes a rift between Maleficent and Aurora when Prince Phillip proposes to Aurora upon his return to the kingdom. Little does Aurora know, Ingrith has plans to use the marriage as a means to permanently divide humans and fairies. It’s up to Maleficent to stop the impending war. The film also sees Chiwetel Ejiofor joining the cast as the leader of an army of fairies similar to Maleficent, and Harris replacing Brenton Thwaites as Prince Phillip.
In 2014, Disney’s dark fairy tale franchise saw another successful addition with the release of a film that earned $758 million worldwide. During a press conference following the European premiere on Wednesday night, Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning discussed the creation of female role models in the movie. The characters presented diverse types of women, alongside extraordinary men. Angelina emphasized that the film’s message was not about a strong woman having to defeat a man but rather about young girls finding their own power while respecting both men and women who contribute to their growth and learning.

Returning to the set was an absolute blast! As I’m now 21, my relationships with the cast have evolved and transformed over time. No longer am I the young kid on set, but rather a more mature individual.
But what really made my experience on set so special was how welcomed I felt by my co-stars Michelle and Angelina. They treated me as an equal, and that was a truly amazing feeling. Being part of their circle was an honor and something I will always treasure.
